System Overview

The WiDTrans™ contactless power supply technology, developed by Shenzhen Hertz Innovations Technology Co., Ltd., originated in 2012 and entered industrial application in 2019. Initially created to meet the needs of logistics sorting equipment, it has gradually expanded into fields such as heavy-duty AGVs for OEMs and EMS overhead transport systems. With the rapid growth of domestic AMHS equipment, Hertz Innovation has continued its R&D efforts to address the power supply demands of logistics equipment in cleanroom environments—such as OHTs and OHS shuttles for wafer transport in fabs, as well as specialized equipment like OHCVs and STKs for LCD panel handling—resulting in this independently developed contactless power supply technology. It is currently primarily applied in semiconductor fabs, LCD panel plants, OEM facilities, and the lithium‑ion battery, photovoltaic, food, and pharmaceutical industries.

Component

The Hertz Innovations WiDTrans™ contactless power supply system mainly consists of the following four components:


Power supply:

ectifies and inverts mains power, transferring energy to the resonant unit to supply a constant current to the track cable.


Track Cable:

Combined with resonant capacitors to form a resonant system, generating an alternating magnetic field around the cable.


Pickup:

Collects electrical energy generated by the alternating magnetic field.


Regulator:

Rectifies the energy collected by the pickup and supplies it to the load.
